Aningayou is an island Yupik clan from St. Lawrence Island in the Bering Straits between Alaska and Russia. These carvings are original pieces by Aningayou artists. The materials are fossil whale bone and ivory and baleen. All materials are from hunting activities such as subsitence hunting and gathering past and present.
